Chris Welsh

CEO

Chris is the Chief Executive Officer of Saturn Communications Group and was part of the original management team that founded the company in the late 1990s. As part of a management buyout in 2003 he subsequently became CEO of the group.

Combined with his vision, leadership and experience as an entrepreneur, Chris has used his understanding of customer requirements and knowledge of the industry to create an organisation of unrivalled pedigree.

After leaving University in 1988, Chris embarked upon a successful career in sales and marketing that led to management positions within three UK based multinational companies in the next 10 years. Chris joined Saturn as a start-up business in 1998 as Sales and Marketing Manager and was largely responsible for the company's decision to enter the communication software marketplace.

John Hamersley

CTO

John is the Chief Technology Officer of Saturn Communications Group and is responsible for the technical strategy. John combines a solid track record in IT with over 20 years experience of managing large and complex technology projects.

Before joining Saturn in 2001, John was a software architect for Barclays Stockbrokers plc and retail applications for Riva Group plc throughout Western Europe.

Joe Till

Sales Director

Joe is the Sales Director of Saturn Communications Group and has been instrumental in the growth and development of the organisation. Joe is responsible for the Sales division and the launch of new products to a worldwide audience.

Since joining the organisation in the late 1990s, Joe has demonstrated a proven track record in enterprise system sales and partner channel development.

Joe is a technology graduate of Loughborough University and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
 

Craig Lyon

Operations Director

Craig is the Operations Director of Saturn Communications Group and is responsible for system implementation, commissioning and support. Craig combines a solid track record in the delivery of technology projects, with over 10 years industry experience.

Craig is a qualified Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and a registered Prince2 Practitioner. Using this experience he has successfully developed an operations team that excels in managing all aspects of service and support lifecycles.

Simon Boynton

Customer Service Manager

Simon is the Customer Service Manager for the Saturn Communications Group and responsible for the support and maintenance function via the helpdesk. He also ensures the service delivered to all of our customers is of an excellent standard.
 
Having worked within support and operational roles for the past 8 years covering both the UK and Europe, Simon is qualified and experienced within ITIL v3 including implementing and delivering ITIL functions across a variety of technology platforms.  He ensures contractual, service delivery and customer care requirements are exceeded for all clients.
